About Our Business - Robitech

Robitech began in 2018 as a freelance tech support business. It basically started as a freelance because we were trying to earn income with the skills that we had. We also saw the need for tech support that ordinary people had. We saw that tech related services are mostly provided in the corporate sectors and large businesses only while ordinary people who own laptops, desktops and mobile devices do not really have options to bring their problem items to. There are some reputable businesses who sell and service ICT items but their fees were little high for ordinary individuals to afford.

In 2018, we operated from home and respond to customer calls and messages and went out to assist them in central locations in town, their residence or in their offices and shops. This continued from 2018 to 2019. From 2020 to mid 2021, we built a mini hub like a small shop at Lopi, in Goroka where we sell goods and also provide tech support services from there. In the middle of 2021, we rented a office space at West Goroka and operated there for the remainder of the year. From our marketing routine, we identified that we need to get a good spot in a central location in town, so we close our office operations at West Goroka and look out for office space rentals in the CBD of the township and we secured a space in the center of the Goroka township in 2023. From there, we operate till today.

As per our customer database records, we have served over 8,000 customers in a span of 7 years.
